Older iMacs are genius for this. The SD slot is within 3mm of the CD drive! If you don’t look at it, it’s real easy to lose the card in the CD slot and then have to spend an hour disassembling the computer to get it back out.

Sometimes you accidentally stick things in the wrong place. It happens.

Regardless, I am glad we’ve seen a decrease in the number of memory form factors (though I did recently have to get data off of an xD-Picture Card, which sent me digging for an ancient card reader).
